Supply chain security does not begin with sending the same questionnaire to every supplier. First, the organisation must identify which providers its processes depend on, what access they receive and what impact could result from an outage, incident or delayed response. Only then can it define a proportionate assessment scope, evidence requirements, contractual controls and ongoing monitoring.
